Phil Collins kickstarts this years Montreux festival

After going into semi-retirement, expat British rock star Phil Collins is making a rare appearance to open the 44th Montreux Jazz Festival, which unveils its lineup of headline performers for the July 1-17 event. The drummer and former member of Genesis is singing Motown and soul music from the 1960s and heads a list of long-time British rockers in the lineup, including the likes of Roxy Music, Mark Knopfler, Elvis Costello and Simply Red.
