Milan (dpa) December, 18, 2007- The Italian national team Tuesday chose a hotel near Vienna as their headquarters for Euro 2008, which is jointly hosted by Austria and Switzerland.

The Italian football federation (FIGC) said through their website that the world champions will stay at a hotel in Baden, 30 kilometres south of the Austrian capital.

The Azzurri will use the stadium of Admira Wacker, a lower- division team from the nearby town of Maria Enzersdorf, as their training camp.

Italy's group-phase games against Netherlands, Romania and France are to be played in Switzerland. The knock-out phase games are to be played in Basel, Switzerland, and Vienna, which will host the final. dpa
