A 20-year-old German woman in Lausanne was reportedly shot dead by her ex-boyfriend. He then turned the gun on himself, Swiss police said Saturday.
A spokesman for the force said the incident happened in a flat in the city on Friday night.
A 23-year-old Swiss man allegedly used an army weapon. Police were alerted when acquaintances of the woman became concerned that they had not heard from her.
