31 March 2008

LAUSANNE – Around 150 demonstrators gathered outside the Olympic Museum in Lausanne in Switzerland on Friday in support of Tibet.

They carried banners protesting about the Olympic flame ceremony crossing the province, according to the Swiss wire agency ATS.

One sign said: "Mr Rogge, your silence is killing Tibetans," referring to Jacques Rogge, the President of the International Olympic Committee.
