Some people just have fascinating backgrounds and Gary Bruno Schmid is one of them. Not only is he an experienced Psychologist and Psychotherapist (with a diploma from the C.G. Jung Institute), he also holds a PhD in Quantum Physics. With a private psychotherapy practice in Zurich since 1988, he specialises in the treatment of neurotic and psychotic patients and regularly employs hypnosis to help his patients. As a member of the Swiss Medical Society for Hypnosis (SMSH), with the status of Supervisor & Trainier for Medical Hypnosis since 2004, he conducts annual workshops in PsychoNeuroAutoImmunization in Switzerland and is the author of three books.
Hypnosis has always been surrounded by a veil of mystery, so on this Curious Course, Gary will dispel some of the myths by describing what Hypnosis means, techniques employed, "show hypnosis" versus medical hypnosis, how the active imagination can influence your state of mind and more.
