United Kingdom Kosovo’s breakaway from Serbia ruled ‘legal’ by UN court

The International Court of Justice, the UN's highest court, announced Thursday that Kosovo's 2008 declaration of independence from Serbia did not violate international law. The non-binding decision is largely symbolic.
