One killed in Belgium coach crash

One person was killed and several injured in Belgium after a coach transporting around 50 young German tourists to Munich crashed into a ditch, Belgian media reported Sunday.

According to early reports, the person killed was a member of staff accompanying the students. He was taken to hospital but died of his injuries.

Several students were also treated for slight injuries.

Reports suggest the driver fell asleep, causing the Czech-registered coach to crash at Cerexhe-Heuseux, near the city of Liege in eastern Belgium.
