BRUSSELS – Formateur Yves Leterme met with the four delegation leaders of the Christian democrat and liberal parties on Thursday afternoon. He will report to the king on his task for the first time today at 3 pm. An hour later he will meet with the various delegations again to discuss immigration policy.
Various sources confirmed on Thursday that the formateur met briefly with the Christian democrat and liberal delegation leaders on Thursday. The five reportedly mainly made working agreements and briefly touched on the topic of asylum and migration. They ascertained that their views were less divided in the area of justice.
Today at 3 pm Leterme will report to the king for the first time since being reappointed formateur last Saturday.
