BRUGES – The annual Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival in the City of Bruges has opened its doors. This year the theme is ‘Ice Fantasy’ based on the new film of the Plop the gnome and his friends.
This year Snow & Ice Events is presenting a new ‘Snow & Ice Sculpture Festival full of mystery and magic in a world of snow and ice.
There is considerable criticism of the festival because of its high amounts of energy and resources that are consumed to run it. The Snow & Ice Sculpture Festival is organised in collaboration with the City of Bruges.
