Da Vinci International School Antwerp
Da Vinci International School (DVIS) is a welcoming, accessible school well located in the centre of Antwerp. There is a vibrant community of students aged 2½ to 18 from over 40 different countries and a passionate international faculty that strives to help students become true citizens of the world. The school is proud to maintain small classes where all children feel secure and where they receive personal support, attention and guidance so they can reach their full potential. It has grown over the past two decades by remaining small and ensuring that it is able to offer truly private education.
All students are encouraged to think and act as global citizens at DVIS Antwerp and tolerance, awareness and cooperation are promoted at all times. The school greatly values having fun, and this builds a strong and happy community. Parents play a vital role in the process through the incredibly creative and supportive PTA which organises a whole host of community events.
Languages are a cornerstone of DVIS Antwerp with Dutch and French taught from Kindergarten onwards and a popular, diverse co-curriculum programme complements the internationally recognised curriculum.
The school teaches the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC), followed by IGCSE’s and A-levels.
DVIS Antwerp is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and pursuing authorisation as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education.
