Medical royal colleges join forces to oppose NHS reforms

Britain's royal colleges of medicine have joined forces to tell peers they must make "substantial changes" to controversial health reforms that come before the House of Lords today.

    Change always disrupts and seldom does it bring into effect improvement but those managing the NHS need to be more accountable and to be able to justify its exorbitant expenditure; it has had it too good for too many years. Experience has shown that when surgeons go on strike that the undertakers almost go out of business as the death rate plummets. When then does society glorify medics?
