Marks and Spencer reveals departure of finance chief
British clothes-to-food retailer Marks and Spencer on Wednesday announced the departure of finance chief Ian Dyson, who will become head of pub group Punch Taverns.
"M&S today announces the resignation of Ian Dyson, group finance and operations director," the group said in a brief statement.
"Ian will leave M&S, on a date to be agreed, to join Punch Taverns as group chief executive."
The news comes one day after Dutchman Marc Bolland began his new job as chief executive at M&S.
Dyson, 47, joined M&S as group finance director in 2005, and was appointed group finance and operations director in 2006.
