Libyan FM defection 'very significant': US official
The defection of Libyan Foreign Minister Mussa Kussa was "very significant" and showed that Moamer Kadhafi's aides could see the "writing on the wall," a senior US official said Wednesday.
Kussa arrived in Britain earlier, telling the British government that he was resigning from his post, Britain's Foreign Office (FCO) said.
"This is a very significant defection and an indication that people around Kadhafi think the writing's on the wall," a senior US administration official said.
