Italian prosecutor demands life for US student
Prosecutors in the appeal trial of US student Amanda Knox on Saturday demanded her lifelong imprisonment for the 2007 murder of a British roommate.
Prosecutor Manuela Comodi also insisted that 24-year-old Knox's former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 27, was guilty and should spend the rest of his life in prison.
Both were given life sentences in the initial trial but say they are innocent.
