British quarterly growth revised down to 0.7 percent: data

Britain's economy grew by 0.7 percent in the third quarter compared with the previous three months, according to downwardly-revised official data published on Wednesday.

"UK gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms rose by 0.7 percent compared with the previous quarter, revised down from the 0.8 percent rise published in November," the Office for National Statistics said in a statement.
