The prices of goods leaving Britain's factories advanced in November, official data showed on Friday.

Producer prices rallied 5.4 percent last month compared with November 2010, the Office for National Statistics said in a statement. However, that marked a slowdown from the 5.7 percent registered in October 2011.

The ONS added that prices increased by 0.2 percent in November compared with October. Both figures were in line with market expectations, according to analysts polled by Dow Jones Newswires.
