British PM orders review of Lockerbie release documents

British Prime Minister David Cameron ordered a review Tuesday of documents regarding the release of the Lockerbie bomber, but dismissed allegations of BP's involvement and ruled out an inquiry.

"I've asked the cabinet secretary today to go back through all of the paperwork and see if more needs to be published about the background to this decision," Cameron said after White House talks with US President Barack Obama.

"But in terms of an inquiry, I'm not currently minded that we need to have a UK-based inquiry on this," he said.
