Britain's Foreign Office said Sunday it was "concerned" about the jailing of a British-Iranian woman arrested after trying to attend a volleyball match in Iran.

"We are concerned about reports that Ghoncheh Ghavami has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for 'propaganda against the state'," it said in a statement.
