Airbus says sells six long-haul jets to Indonesian carrier

European aircraft maker Airbus said on Wednesday that it had struck a deal to sell six long-haul A330-200 passenger planes worth 1.1 billion dollars to Garuda Indonesia.

The deal for the jets, together worth the equivalent of 856 million euros, was announced on the third day of the Farnborough International Airshow near London.
