Victory Day celebrated in Britain

The British public is demonstrating undivided attention, compared to the government authorities, to festivities timed for the 65th anniversary of the Allied Victory in Europe. A statement to that effect was made by Russian Ambassador in London Yuri Fedotov. The British authorities seem to be too preoccupied with the elections to pay any notice to the VE celebrations.
