Distribution of heroin in recent times has become a global tendency leading to increasing number of drug addicted and growth in criminal activity in Europe and Asia. The CIS countries bordering Russia are very likely to become drug states quite soon. Afghanistan produces 90% of the world’s opium, and this country has long become a hotbed of crime.
