UN Security Council set to impose new sanctions on Iran

The UN Security Council is set to approve a new round of sanctions against Iran over its nuclear enrichment and objection to cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA. A draft resolution was submitted by the US and backed by all six countries involved in the negotiation process - the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany.
