Tories lead in general election

In the UK the Conservative Party leads in the just-held general election. Now that 80% of the votes have been counted, the Tories have won 223 seats in the new parliament. Labour is trailing behind with 166 seats, while the Liberal Democrats have got 35 seats. 26 independent candidates have also made it to parliament.
