Suicide bomber carried out Russia market attack: official
The attack on a market in the Russian Caucasus city of Vladikavkaz Thursday was carried out by a suicide bomber, the head of the North Ossetia region Taimuraz Mamsurov said.
"According to information that I have as of now, the blast in Vladikavkaz has been organized by a suicide bomber who drove up to the entrance of the market in a Volga 3102 car," Mamsurov was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency.
"According to preliminary information, eight are killed and more than 30 people injured as a result of the terror act," he was quoted as saying, adding that some of those injured were in critical condition.
