State of emergency extended in Kyrgyzstan

The authorities of Kyrgyzstan have extended a state of emergency in the southern city of Osh and nearby areas until 25 th of June. Officials say about 200 people are said to have been killed in violent clashes between Kyrgyz and Uzbeks, which broke out in the country’s south on 10 th of June.
