Some 40,000 take part in procession in Moscow

Some 40,000 people are taking part in a procession along the Kremlin Embankment in Moscow in honour of the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture. The official procession is led by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. The participants are mostly university students, parishioners of the capital city’s churches, and members of Orthodox youth organizations.
