Russias Yakutia hit by severe flooding

The Russian republic of Yakutia was hit by extensive flooding last week, when scores of peoples were displaced in the republic’s capital Yakutsk due to the disaster, a regional emergencies ministry spokesman said on Monday. The situation remains especially tense in the Namsky Region, where the flooding rode roughshod over more than 600 dwellings, the spokesman said.
