Russian pianist Denis Kozhukhin has won a first prize of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Contest in Belgium, media reports say. 63 musicians from 19 countries took part in the prestigious competition that was initiated by Queen Elisabeth in 1937. The Second World War prompted the suspension of the contest, which resumed in 1951.
