Russian translator gets Mondello prize

The Russian writer and translator Yevgeny Solonovich has been awarded the Mondello prize, one of Italy’s most important literary prizes, for his translation of ";The Butterfly of Dinard"; by the Noble prizewinning author Eugenio Montale. Solonovich has won much acclaim as a translator of 19 th -century lyrical poetry.
