Russian kills son-in-law prankster during boar hunting
A 68-year-old Russian man shot and killed his son-in-law during a hunting trip in Siberia when the 26-year-old man decided to play a prank and impersonated a wild boar, investigators said on Tuesday.
"According to the investigation, two Tyumen residents, a 26-year-old young man and his 68-year-old father-in-law, decided to illegally hunt boar on September 11," investigators from the Siberian region of Tyumen said in a statement.
The 68-year-old climbed a tower in their chosen hunting location. After darkness fell, the young hunter decided to play a prank on his father-in-law, beginning to move under the trees and imitating a wild boar, the investigators said.
The statement said the father-in-law then fired on what he thought was a real boar. After descending from his lookout point, he found the body of his son-in-law with a head wound and called the police.
