Russia, Kazakhstan to set up JV

Russia and Kazakhstan have agreed to set up a joint venture to handle the maintenance of the Su-24, the Su-27 and the MiG-29 fighter jets. A statement to this effect was made by Konstantin Biryulin, deputy head of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, during a news conference in Astana on Thursday.
