Russia 2010 economic growth 3.8%: Putin

The Russian economy grew 3.8 percent in 2010, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday, confirming a figure he first revealed at the end of last year.

Industrial production meanwhile grew 8.3 percent as the economy pulled out of the economic crisis, he added in comments quoted by Russian news agencies. In 2009, Russian GDP contracted 7.9 percent.
