Poet Andrei Voznesensky dead at 77

Andrei Voznesensky, one of the most daring and admired poets of the Soviet era, has died in Moscow at age 77. Voznesensky was one of the so-called "children of the '60s," a generation of thinkers who embraced intellectual freedom during Nikita Khrushchev’s short-lived period of liberalization.
