Plane ablaze in Russia after emergency landing: reports

A Russian plane on Saturday made an emergency landing after one of its engines caught fire but there were no casualties, the RIA-Novosti and ITAR-TASS news agencies reported.

The Tupolev-134 landed in the city of Surgut in Russia's Far North and the plane caught fire on landing when it leaked fuel, the reports said.

However all the passengers were safely evacuated, they added.
