Pakistan test-fires two short-range nuclear missiles

Pakistan has test-fired two short-range missiles, capable of delivering a nuclear warhead. The Pakistani Army Command says in a statement that the Gaznavi and Shahin-1 ballistic missiles with an effective range of 300 kilometres and 650 kilometres respectively were effectively tested earlier today in the presence of Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and top Army chiefs.
