Oldest known hockey stick is 170

The oldest known ice-hockey stick was made 170 years ago, Toronto Sun reports quoting New Brunswick scientists. Analysis has shown that the stick was made from sugar maple wood between 1835 - 1838. Traditionally, Montreal is considered to be the birth-place of ice-hockey but researches also name Kingston, Ontario or Nova Scotia among the possible birth places of the game.
