Obama finds candidate for the post of director of national intelligence

President Obama plans to nominate retired Air Force Lieutenant General James Clapper to the post of director of national intelligence. Currently, Clapper is under secretary of defense for intelligence. From September 2001 to June 2006 he headed the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and before that the defense intelligence directorate.
