OSCE chief to visit Russia

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis, current chair of the transatlantic security body OSCE, will travel to Moscow this week to meet his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, the OSCE said Monday.

During the three-day trip from February 1-3, Azubalis and Lavrov will discuss a range of topics, ranging from the OSCE's recent summit in Astana, protracted conflicts, transnational threats, energy security and media freedom, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe said in a statement.

The OSCE chief will fly in to Domodedovo airport on Tuesday, where he will lay a condolence wreath for the victims killed in the recent bombing on January 24, the statement said.
