Moscow redevelopment project halted by heritage activists

Some 70 heritage campaigners have successfully prevented construction teams from breaking ground on an urban redevelopment project in the Kadashevskaya neighbourhood of central Moscow. They say they fear damage to historic buildings including a landmark 17th-century church. All work on the site is on hold for at least two days.
