According to the Moscow Chief City Police Department, on Monday Moscow police detained no opposition leaders or human rights activists who tried to hold an unauthorized procession. According to earlier police reports, the lawbreakers attempted to foil a blood drive on Triumphalnaya Square, bringing road traffic on Tverskaya Street to a halt, and throwing smoke pellets at passers-by.
