More than 40 killed by floods in southern China

More than 40 people have been killed and a few dozen are reported missing after four days of torrential rains which hit southern China on June 13th causing floods and mudslides. Reports by the national floods and drought control service say a total of 1.4 million people have been affected. Rescuers are currently working in the floods-stricken areas.
