Memorial complex to open in Grozny

A memorial complex is due to open in the Chechen capital Grozny. It occupies a total of over 5 hectares and has a rectangular-shaped main building which consists of two levels. The first, underground layer, houses a museum of the republic’s first President Akhmad Kadyrov, who was killed in a terrorist act on May 9 th 2004.
