Medvedev, Yanukovich agree on 10-year cooperation programme

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, on a two-day visit to Kiev, has suggested pooling efforts to cope with the aftermath of the crisis and update the two countries’ national economies. His Ukrainian counterpart Victor Yanukovich has agreed and proposed to draft a 10-year cooperation programme. On Monday the two leaders chaired the third meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission.
