Kyrgyzstan situation 'intolerable': Medvedev
The situation in Kyrgyzstan is "intolerable" and constitutes a regional emergency, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Monday, according to Russian news agencies.
"The current situation in Kyrgyzstan is intolerable: people have died, blood is still being spilled, massive violence is being motivated by ethnicity," Medvedev said.
"This is extremely dangerous for this region, and for this reason it is necessary to do everything possible to put an end to such acts," the news agencies quoted him as saying.
