Kyrgyz interethnic conflict death toll reaches 118
The death toll of the interethnic conflict in the south of Kyrgyzstan has reached 118. According to the republic’s Public Health Ministry, 1,600 have sought medical assistance. The rioters, the Kirghiz and Uzbeks, are burning down parked cars, smash shop windows; destroy marketplaces, and also residential houses. Looters are rioting in the streets.
