Khodorkovsky seeks visa to enter Switzerland
Kremlin critic Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who walked free from a Russian prison last week after a decade in jail, on Tuesday applied for a three-month Schengen visa to travel to Switzerland, the Swiss foreign ministry said.
"Khodorkovsky filed this request at the Swiss embassy in Berlin," the ministry said in a statement.
The former oligarch travelled straight to Germany after a surprise pardon from President Vladimir Putin on Friday. Khodorkovsky's twin sons go to school in Switzerland.
