Japan's new PM to be elected on June 4

The Japanese parliament will meet on June 4 to elect a new prime minister. The same day, a new Cabinet will be formed, a spokesman for the ruling Democratic Party of Japan announced Thursday. With the DPJ holding a majority in the both the upper and lower houses of the Diet, the results are fairly predictable.
