Indian Court finds eight officials guilty of Bhopal 1984 tragedy

The Indian court has found eight officials of the Union Carbide India Limited Indian-US Company guilty of the death of thousands of people as a result of a poisonous gas leakage at the Bhopal pesticide manufacturing factory in 1984. The defendants are threatened with a prison term of up to two years for reckless homicide.
