India tests Prithvi-II missile

India successfully test-fired the Prithvi-II, a nuclear-capable, short-range ballistic missile, Friday. According to Indian television , the tests are carried out as a part of a national program on developing missiles. Prithvi-II are ballistic missiles, with a range of 350 km and payload capacity of 500 kg. The previous test was conducted on March 27, 2010.
