Gazprom starts cutting Belarusian gas supplies

Russian energy giant Gazprom has started reducing the amount of gas deliveries to Belarus by 15 percent of the planned daily volume. The company’s chief Alexei Miller said gas cuts might reach up to 85 percent. This followed the failure by Minsk to meet the five-day deadline imposed by Gazprom to settle the dispute.
